MIGUEL SOLANO (Dancer) is from Medellin, Colombia. He started dancing at the age of seventeen as a dance major at the District University of Bogotá, and the following year continued his training at BalletStudio Bogotá under the direction of Patricia Niño. In 2013, he moved to New York City to complete his studies at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet under full scholarship, during which time he performed with Kirkland’s Studio Company. He has participated in various summer programs including Hubbard Street Dance, Oklahoma City Ballet, and Batsheva Dance Company in Israel. Miguel has since worked with Awaken Dance Theater, Thomas/Ortiz Dance, and Connecticut Ballet. He has worked with choreographers such as Earl Mosley, Christopher Rudd, Darrell Moultrie, Larry Keigwin, Nadege Hottier, Larissa Calero, and many more. This is his second season with Complexions.
